Definitely wouldnt say way off
I like this one I picked up raw on ebay. PCGS gave it 65BN.

The first pic I see what you mean. I' m still navigating through the camera and forgot to tinker with the white balance.

Wish I could show y'all better pictures but this is the best I can do with a hand held Canon. This was bought in NGC skin and crossed at the same grade to PCGS. I always thought it should have upgraded but no such luck.

I'm never happy with my coin images and I've had some nice camera's and lens to boot.
Since your first coin was a Roosie:
1963 1c PCGS-63 BN Struck on defective planchet ("blow hole")
1899 5c NGC-55 Split planchet after strike
1901 5c PCGS-63 Struck on split planchet
ND Mercury 10c NGC Struck on split planchet
