Grade review question for the experts or anyone who knows.........

I have never used the service before so please excuse my ignorance I have a 1939 Proof Jefferson in a rattler 65 holder with a Gold Bean on it. I'm convinced it's a 67. Can I send it for a grade review and specify min. grade of 67 or don't crack it????? Thanks in advance!

pretty sure that you can't as they crack to review. You might work out a special deal if you call and ask but the more a one off a request is the greater the chance that it will get messed up.

Do neither. It's probably worth more in the Rattler with a Gold CAC.

For regrade, you can specify a higher minimum grade if you like, but they will just ignore it and crack the coin out. In other words, you cannot specify a higher minimum grade using the regrade service. Regardless, the coin is likely more liquid and more valuable in the rattler with the gold CAC sticker.

Save your money. PCGS is all over the place with grading Proof Jeffersons.
