What are dealers paying for 40% Kennedy halves these days?

I found 16 that I want to offer to a local dealer and was wondering what a fair sell price would be. Thanks for any help or advice.

you might get better off of BST.

APMEX is paying $8699 for a $1000 face bag. That works out to $8.69 for $1 face or $4.35 per coin. I doubt a dealer will give you that much for a small quantity, since they're hard to re-sell, but it should be something in that ballpark.

Either that, or try the BST.

B&M dealers will pay you as little as they possibly can. 40% Halves are not really in demand. I had a loacl b&m offer me $3.50/coin when Spot was $31.30 (at the time of the deal) the other day for $63 face value of them. I was happy to get out of them with a .05/coin profit. As other have suggested, the BST might be a better option if you can get someone to foot the bill for shipping.
    Hope this helps.

  • Ive bought these in the past, made $1000 fv bags and submitted them to the smelter on 3 seperate occassions.
I have the itch to start again...
  • With spot where it is, I'm thinking $4.00 apiece would be in the ballpark.
