Dental gold?

I have unearthed 1/4 oz of dental gold from some early crown work that has since been replaced. What is the value of this stuff and what is its composition?

Thanks

  • "what is its composition?"

Almost anything, gold, silver, palladium and platinum. without an assay, No idea of its value. I ship it off to a refinery after I collect about 3 troy oz

Midwest Refineries takes dental if it's clean and free of debris (tooth matter).

I send my scrap to atlantic precious metals WWW.APMR.com does not matter if there are teeth or other debris. The assay for all metals.

I don't know if this is the best group, but it is the place all the local dental labs use to refine scrap and they have always worked well for me
