Are there pictures?? No one should make comments on authenticity until you actually see the stuff, lol
Just reading the list, nothing out of the ordinary, except spelling Frank Bakers name wrong....
If there was any of the toughies.. ie. Addie Joss, Rube Waddell, Eddie Plank, Ross Youngs, Ed Delahanty, Joe Jackson, etc. then there would be red flags galore...
The best sigs are the Mathewson (tough), and Gehrig's.... but even he is not rare at all, just rare if you compare it to the most common 1930s sig, Babe Ruth... Ruth signed tons of stuff and is extremely common overall for Era.
edited to add...PS just found the pics, have to let them load.....
cards are all very common and authentic from what I see... some sigs dont look good at all, ie. the Clemente Ball looks way too slow, but the cut looks good to me especially with the added "Best Wishes"
dont like the Honus Wagner cuts at all, even though his sigs vary, they look way too slow and plain
most of the older stuff is faded and the balls are obviously signed a long time ago with the surface age/patina and fade of the ink... highly doubt they are not authentic, especially the Cobb check cut, multi signed balls near the end of pics look good. the cuts are mostly from autograph books, very common for those types of 1920-50 sigs. no red flags I see besides Wagner
I cant find the Mathewson, my jungleinternet is super slow, and it takes a couple minutes to load a pic anyone care to point out where it is???
Im looking at the sigs on their own I could care less about the COA or who made the COA... to me it looks like the owner got everything authenticated at once all by the same Authenticator... seems realistic to me, but maybe he should have chose a more reputible one, but by choose ACE thats not a 100% fact the stuff is garbage...
look at the sigs on their own.... to me most all look good
I'd stay away from the entire auction with a 10 foot pole. Too many red flags:
1. Using ACE Authentication 2. Using some backwater auction service rather than consigning to a reputable company 3. Clemente ball's ink is way too bold to have been signed in the 1970s and the ball looks artificially aged 4. Including a stamped ball and trying to pass it off as real

I am not sure how to post it but here is my attempt. http://www.net54baseball.com/showthread.php?t=140532
<< <i>I would not get anywhere near the ACE certified material. There was a thread a few days back concerning them w/ a link.

The non-ACE stuff?
1. Using ACE Authentication
2. Using some backwater auction service rather than consigning to a reputable company
3. Clemente ball's ink is way too bold to have been signed in the 1970s and the ball looks artificially aged
4. Including a stamped ball and trying to pass it off as real
