NewP- 1824 Mexico 8 reale "Hook Neck" MoJM- Can you offer a grade and value brothers??

This Hook Neck has a lot of luster still and dark toning, no hairlines and I am 99% sure it has never been cleaned. Can you help me out with a grade, value and your 2 cents on whether you would get it holder ed or not? Minted 1824 MoJM.

1) Grade?
2) Value?
3) Worth getting into a holder?

Seems to be in the XF range.

The values: (depends on eye appeal and degree of cleaning)
    1. For none graded xf around $400-$800
    2. For none graded au around $1000 - $1500
    3. Graded XF $800 -$1200
    4. Graded AU $1400 $1700

I would send it to a third party more for authentication than a specific grade. The coins looks nice, it has attractive toning and a sharp strike in the center. They are normally weakly struck in the center.

It looks like it has been cleaned/rubbed at some point, but it could be the lighting. Otherwise, it appears to be an xf. -Dan

My best guess is 58. Nice coin! Probably worth $1500 or so.

Is that an A scratched into field above the rays at 1:00? If it isn't, coin should be in a slab, they might MS it. Ya never know. Grading is still subjective.
