AS OF 10PM EST NOV 30 THERE IS A SALE PENDING FOR THIS CARD

Talk about low pops. Besides the black borders, the 1971 Topps Munson card is next to impossible to get centered. That's why there are only four PSA 9s and then this one-of-one PSA 8.5.

With 9s selling at $8500 and up and 8s around $800 I am looking for a FAIR price without getting bled by the fees from Feebay and PayPal) for this hard to find card.

I am still a bit new here on the CU forum, but I have been around the hobby for several decades and can provide hundreds of references from both the big auction houses and individuals that should satisfy anyone who is concerned.

    Wow. That's a huge spread between an 8 and a 9. 8000.00 to 800.00 ???

    A Gretzky opc rookie in PSA 9 sells for around 5,000.00, while his PSA 8 opc rookie sells for 1,000.00


    It seems that the PSA 8 Munson rookie is too low to me.

    Agreed that Munson ROOKIES are undervalued, along with much of the 1970 set. But the '71 is more sought after for many more reasons. The Munson, along with most of the first series of 1971, were VERY tough on centering (Rose, Jackson, etc). Also, this is just simply the sexiest card Topps has ever produced!!
