96 Tiger Woods SI For Kids Card

I have a 1996 SI For Kids Tiger Woods card. Tiger just won the Masters and has many great years to come, so get his most prized card now. My card is near mint and am willing to consider all bids! PLMK is you are interested.

There is a real one out there and also a couple of reprints and second series card. I know you'll say that yours is the real one but how can we be sure? If it is real I'd be interested.

As far as I know it is real. I mean I did get the magizine, so I think that would inply that it is real. Also it would be hard for me to get a fake because I am not really into cards. I just read in SI that one had been sold for 125,000 and looked for the card. I was lucky because it hadn't been in the case, but it turned out perfect and I got it in a case right away. P.S. I was REALLY close to selling the card to a guy for 10,000(I am not expecting that much) but he backed out..it really sucked.

Oh, I forgot something, how do you know it is real? I would like to find out because it hasn't been brought to my attention yet.

I really have no idea what I am looking to get. It has been sold for 125,000 and people have said they condsidered themselves luck to get 100, so it is a wide range. Based on what I have heard, I would say I would want about 3000-5000, but I am open to all bids.

I probably will get it traded. I don't think I have much of a chance for 25 grand, but who knows. Just wondering, but how much are you willing to put up for it nongraded, pending the scan turns out good?

That is an amazing card tho...a friend of mine had all the cards outta the sheet BUT the Tiger he was SOOOOOO pee'd!! lol thanks ya if you get the scan that would be great i can sorta tell if it is gonna grade high as if there is some yellow in the corners don't bother and sell it as a full mag.

I will be able to get a scan by tomorrow. Just to let everyone know, there is like a .02 mm of yellow on the button if you blow the scan, but in real life you can BARELY see it, like you have to be specifically looking for it, and I didn't even notice it for 6 months. The good thing is the little little bit of yellow is just at the button.

The SI sold for $125000 when Tiger only had five majors under his belt. Now that Tiger has won six of the last ten majors, shouldn't it be worth more?

Well the reason that is was sold for 125000 is because it was in Gem Mint condition and it was rare at the time. Now that there are some out on the market, you can't expect to get that much. But people can still get a lot, I am still seeing the sold for 50 grand. And I also saw the 96 and 2 other Tigers sold for 300000.
