Now you've done it! Your post will drive up his "view" count and he'll think he needs to raise the price.

I added him to my watch list.

Ever seen one of those before SB?
I just hope bidders realize that the seller does have the option to end the auction if they are satisified with the amount and the top bidder would then be obligated to pay for it. That's why at this point I am staying away from it.

Not only that, it's a waste of money (courtesy of freetranslation.com)
<< <i>OK, This may qualify as a bubble in 2 oz Engelhard Bars. This may bring all E 2 ozers out of their hideaways. >>
Hopefully other 2 oz Engelhards will appear from some cache. However, I don't expect many will appear. IMO 2 oz Engelhard poured bars are excessively rare - much rarer than 4 oz and 7 oz bars.

that's just stupid...$850 oz? And the reserve wasn't met?
What is the seller referencing as a price guide for it to not sell is what I want to know.

Perhaps the price guide was established tonight.

If that's the case, I guess I'm never going to own a 2 oz Engelhard...and the point you bring up about the Chinese watching that auction is actually a very good point.
we all thought was STUPID money to get this. Most choked out at $1K ... but 3
of us, that I know of, topped that .... I REALLY wanted this bar..... but when it broke $1.5K ....
The other thought I had was..... "WE" have been used.
Seller has a 2oz bar. A buyer wants it. They can not agree on a price, so....
they put it on the bay with a $10,000 reserve....... "WE" never had a chance...
but now they have a price.
Gotta say ...... I really do not understand the rarity based on the number on that bar.
Wish I knew what happened, or where, to the rest of them!!
