I picked up this gorgeous coin art in 2007 and then had PCGS slab it as MS64. Shortly thereafter my precious was taken from me into a hole.... Not a tidy, clean, dry hole, filled with fine furnishings, nor a warm cozy hole with soft chairs to sit down on: it was an Ajaan hole, and that means filth..

Hmmm... That may be the same coin I own now (snatched from "The Hole" you lost it in).

Me too. I wonder if that was intentional on their part.

Aw, shucks.
Funky... for fun... covers a lot of territory for me. Hmm...
I snapped up four of these cute little Hungarian denars not too long ago. A VCoins dealer was having a sale. Doesn't take very much persuasion for me to buy these: inexpensive, silver, early-dated, with a cool design... what's not to like?
Good one - I remember when these were advertised in coin world many years ago-I never saw one though. I think they were declared to be illegal, so coin world stopped allowing them to be advertised.
This is as close to funky as I own. I got it from "Himself" Lord M on the BST. I do believe the man is trying to convert me. He's had me to the front of the church twice now and I've even taken up the offering for him.

Really funky coin here from Bulgaria in the late 14th Century. I bought this for fun because I just love the colours!

Gustavus III and, I think, his mother. Gustavus was the nephew of Frederick the Great and a pretty interesting guy.
