I do have two Ike dollars not on eBay, mostly because I never got around to scanning them. The first is a 1972-S silver in PCGS PR69 DCAM, but I would want fifty bucks for that. It is an awesome coin that trends around $85, I think. It has a few near-microscopic white specks on the obverse (smaller than a pinhead) but is otherwise stunning. There is also a PR68 DCAM of the same date, but it is on eBay.
The second coin is a 1976-S silver Ike in PCGS PR68 DCAM. It has a very light, even gold tone (just a faint hint of gold color overall) and is also stunning visually. It used to be in an NGC PR69 UCAM holder, and I would include the original NGC insert if I can find it, just in case anyone wanted to cross it back. This coin trends $50 in 68 DCAM and $190 in 69 DCAM, and I have 68 money in it, so I would ask fifty bucks on it as well.
So- you don't have any $30 coin opportunities from me unless you go to eBay and take your chances with everyone else. But I will be happy to offer you a choice of two nice Ikes at $50 a pop postpaid, and would even drop the price to $95 postpaid for the pair, if you can scratch up the funds. Since you are working on a nongold set, these are probably among some of the better coins to fill those holes- and Ikes have been hot. Just ask anyone around here.
You get first shot. But if you decline, the same offer is open to whoever wants the coins. I am parting with a lot of remnants from my old 1900-present set.
***NOTE*** I offered the '76 Ike in error. I had already sold it to Brian (in fact, he has already paid me! I forgot to package it up and remove it from inventory). How embarrassing! So forget the offer on the '76 Ike, but the offer on the 72-S silver in PR69 DCAM is still open. You mentioned "allowance". If you are a young collector on an allowance I will happily lay the coin away for you and even let you register it while paying on it (even though I will lose money all around, as I paid $60 for the coin before noticing the specks). Sorry about the mixup on the '76. Thank you for the correction, Brian.

Go to Ebay (That is if they great people of this forum can not help you) find the coins you need and put a bid in for 30 dollars for all of them.
This way you do not pay more than 30 dollars per coin for your set.
(Bit my tounge three times....)
Good luck with your set,
Ray

And I can't seem to have any luck selling that 1976 more than once!
