unable to send PMs, can't figure out what my problem is.

When I try to PM a poster I get that red exclamation with the yellow background. I can PM people I've got in my history message file, but not directly to a post.

Any help appreciated to point out what I need to do to correct the problem.

    Are you still in the "log in" mode? I know when you are logged out, you cannot PM members. Just a thought.

    I can PM anyone in my "view history" file. However, if I want to respond to a post, when I click the little key icon, I get this red exclamation point with a yellow explosion background.

    Kinda weird to me.
