Grading from outside US/Canada?

I was wondering if any collectors could share their experiences of sending in their cards for grading from outside USA & Canada (especially the UK but anywhere would do). Did you have any issue with customs when getting your cards back? I know grading companies in other fields submit documention indicating that the only thing that has been purchased is a grading service + case & the value is declared as that (whilst it is insured for full value with a 3rd party insurance firm), do PSA/Becketts/SGC do a similar thing or has anyone been stung on having to pay customs & duty a 2nd time?
Does the total cost & hassle become so much thats its not worth it (unless you do a large batch) & you should only buy graded cards in the first place (if thats what you ultimately want)?
