HOF rookie card reprint Autos - stargell or koufax?

One of my new areas of collecting focus is revolving around obtaining the various topps-issued rookie card autographed reprints. This evolved from my effort in obtaining all the HOF autos in topps heritage issues. Certain rookie cards (like the 57 brooks, 59 gibson, 56 aparicio) were not reprinted in heritage, but they were in fact part of the topps team legends autos of 2001/2002 or the topps archives sets of 2001/2002. They make a nice addition to the heritage autos.

So there are some rookie cards that are not an option (like the 55 clemente, 52 matthews, or the 51B or 52 mantles). But I am wondering if anyone is aware if topps ever reprinted (and auto'd) the 55 koufax or any of these others? I have never seen these on ebay, but i've only been looking for a few months.

Go do a search on Beckett's website. That's a pretty good resource for finding the answers you seek.

Cool project! I am fairly sure that there is no 55 Koufax autographed reprint because this year is the first year that Koufax has ever signed for Topps (someone correct me if I am wrong). They might make one in a set in the next few years while they have him under contract.

I am also going to say no on Stargell because he didn't have one in 2001 and he died April 9, 2001, so he couldn't have had one in a future issue.

Mazeroski had a 2001 Topps Archives (eBay item)

I'd so no to Drysdale since he died in 1993.

Can't say on the other ones.

Oh crud, i didn't realize those guys had been dead that long. RIP folks. I would agree Stargell and Drysdale won't be avialable, and Koufax is also not probably available for at least awhile.

I think i've seen a bunning auto, but can't remember.

I am pretty sure there was a 52 Matthews inserted in 1997 Topps Stars.
