ePawnMarket climbing the search engine charts! Contest, '78 OPC Pack with Rose front, Carlton back t

getting indexed by the various search engines pretty fast now. We are climbing up the searches when "Online Pawn" and "Online Pawn Shop" are searched for, which are our most relevant searches.

We have made several loans in the past week due to completely organic searches that have found our site. Took in a couple of Rolexes, Tag Heuer's, Lady Gucci watches, Mont Blanc Pens, and a nice baseball card collection image .

We also are putting around 10,000 new items into our marketplace. If anyone is interested in anything we have for sale for Christmas, I'll do a pretty good discount for members here. (I'll also trade for baseball cards, lol).

I'd also like some ideas for any other promotions, deals we could do. As a little contest, I'm gonna give away a '78 OPC pack with Rose Record Breaker showing on front and Carlton showing on back to the best promotion/deal we could do to get the most exposure online. I'll run the contest until Nov. 8th at 7 PM, basically 1 week from today. Best idea gets the pack (and possibly something else if it yields a big windfall, lol)

  • Make a viral video. Nothing gets 10 million views quicker than a viral video.

Do something clever (and funny, like a commercial) but still not over the top but that revolves around your business.

If you do pick this I'll be happy to help with ideas...

I kind of thought about it, honestly I'd mainly say open a youtube channel dedicated to your pawn shop. Videos on how things work in the office, how things are stored. Then create that one video that everyone says "I have to show that to my friends", and they all check out your channel... And since they can ship from anywhere there are thousands of people looking at it.

How about a cable television show? -- maybe call it Pawn Stars . . .

Congrats Tommy -- it looks like your new venture is headed in the right direction.

  • Morning,

Why don't you send an E-Mail to several of the Co-Producers of Pawn Stars, ask if there is a possibility of some sort of tie-in. You can contact them at Historychannel.com and Pawn Stars Facebook. Most likely will come to nothing............But, you never know, and if it did the sky's the limit with the success of that show!!

You gotta get the right person to Tweet about it. A fellow author with over 1 million Twitter followers tweeted about my wife's book and her sales went through the roof!

A spokesperson (or two). Someone known well enough but not someone who is going to charge you a crazy amount of money to use their face with a couple of quotes.

Also, may I suggest you make it a more personal experience. Maybe a page with all of the experts people will be dealing with and short bios about their specialties and expertise. Maybe the experts faces on the pages that they have their expertise in. It's nice to put faces to people that the customers would be talking to. I see you did that with your CEO and its a nice touch...expand that.
