If an NGC coin fails to crossover at the same grade at PCGS, do you try again?

Also curious if it might be worth trying at a show with onsite grading. Can they be easier, especially if the fee is higher?

Your thoughts, all?

I would ask a couple of known experts at a show, if in fact, they think it should cross. If the consensus is yes, I might try a few times.

How trashed is the NGC holder? You will not get the benefit of the doubt if the graders can't see the coin clearly.

I tried as often as I needed too. (As many times as PCGS needed me to image )

Now I have all of my Morgans in PCGS slabs for the Registry and have since sent some back that didn`t make it the first one or two times. Sent them back for Regrades and now have little + signs on the holders. image
A few are actually graded higher than before, even after NOT making into their slabs before. image

    Such is life...

Did coin show onsite grading help?

It is more likely to cross on resubmission if you crack it out. Wanna gamble?

I always buy dimes in NGC holders at one grade lower price..... then write "any" on the grade I will accept. It always works out.image
