Iphone 4S Camera Impressive

I finally got the new Iphone 4s this past friday after my old 3gs phone bricked itself in July. One of the things I was most anxious to try out was the touted improved camera. After using it this past weekend at a local comic convention I wanted to try it mostly on coins.

Needless to say I am hugely impressed. All I did was take the coins out of the holders, place them on a black surface and snapped away. Only photoshopping was resizing & some sharpening.

Sorry I didnt try it on copper as my U.S. copper coins are in the SDB. But im sure its just as good when on a white surface then edit to a black background or however you wish.

Now I get to spend awhile re-imaging most of my coins

I think they may be overexposed and I wonder if you were using the flash.

Nope, it was natural light.

Ya, light seems harsh, but I agree that the 4s camera is nice if you're in a pinch or don't have anything better
