More Fun with Diopters (1851 3c Silver)

Not so much a collector coin (kind of in bad shape) but a lot to look at in a Macro Shot

Camera: Panasonic DMC-FZ35 12 MP Digital with the LA-3 lens adapter
Lighting: Two 26w CFLs
B&H copy stand
Aperture:F8
White Balance: Automatic
ISO: 80
Focal Length (before add on lenses are calculated in): 48 mm/270mm 35m equiv/10x
Add on lens: Panasonic DMW-LC55 with Raynox LCR-150 (+7 diopters)
Shutter speed: 1/60s
Distance: 13 cm
Cropped to 33% of original

    Pretty nice photo for a diopter.

    I was never really happy with their critical sharpness, when I experimented.
    Collector of Large Cents, US Type, and modern pocket change.

    It's a cost consideration thing image I already have the FZ-35, so unless I buy a DSLR where I can use Macro lenses, add-on diopters are my only option. The Panasonic and Raynox lenses have a good quality for the price tho so I'm happy.
