nice insight. Why are you counting the number of threads on this topic?

<<nice insight. Why are you counting the number of threads on this topic?>>

Doesn't take much effort, searched 25th, and I get three full pages of 20, plus one more thread.
Bet we close in on 100 in the coming weeks.

    Weren't the 2010 Pucks presales at $5,000.
  • Who knows. History tells us not to get overly optimistic about these things. Fairly safe bet that they won't end up back at $299 on the secondary market.

From my perspective (if I recall correctly), the 20th Anniversary sets were minted to 250000 sets (more than double this mintage). This set has also has two more coins (granted-cost was $100 vs $299).

I held on to a couple of boxes and a few months in to the. Ext year I sold them for more than 8 times the original cost. I still see significant upside.

There will be a temporary drop in price once sets get deliverd by the mint. Supply will hit the market all at once. After that price should go back up.

My opinion is that 2 of the five will be worth $180 each and the other 3 worth about $7 over spot. By the time they're "in hand" they'll be more valueable than now, but maybe not worth as much. It's a good question for the 60 somethinth thread, but who's counting ? It's a 64,000 $ question.

I'll bet you a dollar, but you have to send $1.03 in Pay Pal if I win.
  • Questions like this are really getting old. The fact is, nobody knows exactly what is going to happen to these. There are a lot of people in need of hand holding on here, they ought to just sit back and relax. See what happens and then act. They sound like grade schoolers.

It never hurts hearing the opinion or taking advice from others. I might learn something.

The first few set "on hand" on eBay will bring good money.
After those, I agree with derryb, the price will drop and then go up again!
