Hi folks-
I have only seen the 1975 printing and have not looked at the 1983 or 1995 reprints. What are your opinions of the 1995 reprint? How are the plated images? Do the "corrections" add to the value of the text? Thanks, everyone.

Alas, my shelf is empty of such material. I've still got an old Sear book and just started getting a few of the more general Sayles "Ancient Coin Collecting" volumes, but for somebody who's so avid on Romans, I've definitely not got a first-class library on the subject. I still mostly use Wildwinds and a hodgepodge of scattered web sources.
Then again, I've always played with the Imperials and not the Republican stuff so much. But I still wish I had any of the books of which you speak.

The book is a must if you have any serious interest in Roman Republican coinage.
