No way. Once items become pricier than a couple grand, the customer base rapidly declines. Then again, the government has done crazier things!

$10K per set. That might keep sales down for the common flipper.

They could have, at the start of the year. Right now, they would have had to have everything already in place and basically already minted.
I don't think they could do it this close to the end of the year, from scratch

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

I can see a 1/2 ounce three coin set. Unc, Proof, Reverse proof.
All coins kept in bank vaults.
    PCGS Registries
    Box of 20
    SeaEagleCoins: 11/14/54-4/5/12. Miss you Larry!
  • A 3 gold coin 1/10 oz set of Burnished BU, Proof and Reverse Proof would be affordable by many collectors.
They could probably do it for < $700.
Make them all with "S" mint marks just to ensure that collectors will need them to complete their collections! image

I think a 1/10 oz is to small for a reverse proof, minimum 1/4 oz, even that maybe to small.

They should strike the SAEs in gold; one burnished S-mint, and one RP.

Mintage: 2500; limit one per household.....price? 40% over the spot weight of an SAE planchet.

This is a perfect example why they should bring back the burnished fractionals. With gold prices out of reach for most joe sixpacks, me included, it makes perfect sense. Not everyone can afford the one oz. coins anymore.
