But I really wish there was one that showed the total of global govt, municipal, corporate and personal (consumer) debt. I think the total is something like $350 TRILLION.
Reminds me of an auction....10 trillion, 12 trillion, 14 trillion...do I hear 15 trillion?...and the politicians just keep saying "Yes" to the next amount.
Comrade, I'm scared to even think about it. Do you remember the old joke about Congressional spending? It goes, "a million here, a million there - pretty soon it starts adding up to REAL MONEY".
Well, we are long beyond that joke.
Q: Are You Printing Money? Bernanke: Not Literally

It's more like a Shakespearean tragedy. King Lear comes to mind.
Didn't realize how fast the interest accrues on this. So much for linear estimates. Now getting about 26 days to go which jumps it to just before Thanksgiving. That's several weeks ahead of Friday's guess where it was adding about $1.7M per minute. Now it's up to around $2.3M/min. Will probably end up being mid-November if not earlier.
Wow. it will hit 15 trillion before the 25th Anniversary ASE's even ship. That was fast. Bummer. MJ

I'm looking forward to 20 and then 100 and more because it might be fun bringing a wheelbarrow full of money to the supermarket to buy a loaf of bread.
<< <i>Does Mr. Rothschild really expect to collect on this debt and for that matter the worlds? >>
No. He already owns everything several times over and is now just trying to suck up all the errant wealth. When you put a dollar in his hands he gives you .5% interest and then loans that same dollar to as many as twenty other people at interest rates as much as 50 times what he pays you. He already owns all the gold in the world and has sold it to ten or twenty people as well. A lot of people think they own their stash but it's really just on loan until he wants it back.

Better question, on what date will the debt be fully repaid, repudiated, or forgiven?

Knowledge is the enemy of fear
I guess we will all have a "global haircut day" one day soon. (similar to Greece where everyone gets a lot less money, but no one defaults)
All those fearing financial turmoil will just have to be out of anything owning global gov't debt.

I've done that ride and know what you mean.
Why does the date April 1st come to mind?

It will accelerate so I'll guess April 15.

But some were much closer than others. Heck, even a 5th grader knows how compounding interest works.....

<< <i>Does Mr. Rothschild really expect to collect on this debt and for that matter the worlds? >>
No, he was expecting a constant cash flow...
<< <i>little under $31 billion left

One day later $26.7B left. At this rate the crossover should be in less than 7 days...around the 15th or 16th.
<< <i>Clicking along at ~$38,000 per second. New estimate of 11/17 11:02pm >>
that rate is accelerating at a very quick clip.

There goes my guess unless Congress finds some self restraint in the next few hours.

I did not know that the bankers were going to give him a 2nd term! Have I been out of touch this last half $trillion?
I knew it would happen.
