Super fast poppage!!

I've been waiting for 4+ months to sub my '55 and '56 Topps, and I finally pulled the trigger on the 56's last week (still waiting for $5 special on 55's and earlier) Mailed Friday, logged on Monday, popped today! Three day turn on a 51 card sub! Maybe whining about the specials on the messager board pays off image

I finally found some '56s at my local card shop that were in better condition that all of the raws I've been buying off Ebay for the last 10 months. These are my first vintage 8's since I started subbing in January. Oh, and I finally slabbed my 2005 National '1955 missing cards' to cap off my '55 set. Here's the poppage.

    I don't have any immediate plans to sell it, but let me think about it. I do have something else I'm eyeing. I'll PM you first if I decide to sell.

    Thanks for the congrats, guys. I knew I had found something good when I walked into the shop and he pulled these out. Apparantly on consignment from an older gentlemen who had brought them in. It helps that this particular shop has little interest in grading.

    After some tough lessons learned with waverly, klinger, and the rest of the gang, this was a nice change of pace. image

    These were all "grader" 194, by the way, in reference to the New Grader of Death post. Not that I buy into it, but if there was a grader #194, he treated me pretty fairly.

    I just sent in my October special on Tuesday, and it arrived and was logged today. It made it coast to coast in 2.5 days. I've never had one go through the process that fast. I'm hoping for a quick pop, but since it logged so fast, I'll probably still be waiting on poppage in December!
