Did anyone forget to change ASE quantity from 1 to 5?

In the mad rush of battling the mint's website today did anyone overlook changing the quantity to (5) and end up have to battle the website some more?

I did but it didn't make any difference as I was not able to get through online. Ordered 2 sets of 5 on the phone.

I did but managed to get my five sets anyway in 50 minutes!

Is this the quickest sold out of the US Mint?

The real battle came when I changed that number.

The connection timed out.

Log back in, cart showed 1 item, go to cart, select process order, connection timed out.

Log back in, immediately go to check out, "Your Cart is Empty".

Select "add to cart", connection times out.

Log back in, cart showed 5 items, go to cart, select process order, connection timed out.

and on


and on


and on


and on.

All the while, I'm pressing redial on the phone.

It was a long morning that may have been for naught!

I finally got my order in by putting them in the cart before logging in. There was a log-in process during checkout, but it was quick.

I literally was in and out in less then a minute at 12:30pm EST. I was like, WTH and immediately started to worry that I messed up............MJ

I did. But I corrected it and had it done in the first 7 minutes.

That may qualify for a U Suck Award Dialed every 10 seconds for 125 minutes, then finally was able to sign in and order.

i was able to change it on page 1 and/or prior to confirm purchase. ...at least 40 times.

at the critical moment, i had it @ 5

After my order went through I drove over my sisters house to help her with her order as she is not the sharpest tool in our family shed. My sister and I tried for 3.5 hours (internet and phone) before she got through. She actually threw her house hand held phone against the wall at one point. I saw this and dodged the phone as it sailed by my head. I have Neo like reflexes as I've seen the Matrix like a hundred times. She finally got to stage 6 and the mint site "was thinking" for about five minutes and then it just logged her out. I ducked again this time behind the sofa and told her to check her e-mail just in case. Before she checked her e-mail her cell phone rang. I chirped that it was probably the Mint calling her. Twas not. However, when she checked her e-mail she had a CNF order from the mint. Sweet success.

So I did have the Mint experience like most others.
