Any information you wish to obtain on the 25th ASE set, please refer to one of the other 34 threads on the topic.
This ain't the place for useful information. It is the refuge for levity.

All these 25th Anniv. threads means one thing, many will not get through.
This very well could be the most signifigant offering by the Mint.

I was thinking about showing up at the mint about 6:00am and banging on the door.
Kind of like the black Friday crowds at Wal*Mart.

It is certainly the most significant offering since the 2009 UHR gold. I thought the hockey pucks were big (and they were = 3"!) but ASEs already have a large and established collector base.

I think the Mint will have 60,000 to 70,000 of these sold by this time (10:40 p.m. ET) tomorrow with the remaining pieces lingering through the weekend and the sell-out called Monday afternoon.

I'm holding to my original prediction that these could sell out in 6 hours. (based to the Mint's ordering systems and maximum demand).

When you say 34 threads, do you mean 34 threads plus this one? Or, do you mean 34 threads including this one?

Anyone want to buy a 25th anniversary ASE set? image

Can't sleep and feeling annoying. Kind of think someone waking up to see the entire first page of 25th ASE threads will find it humorus or extremly annoying.
  • At least in my sleep-induced haze I can just click randomly somewhere on the screen and find myself in a 25th Anniversary ASE thread.

That made me laugh. I'm sure the purest on the board are annoyed by all this but it tends to strike my funny bone

I'm glad there is now an "OFFICIAL" thread now. All of those unofficial "precious metal" / "non-US Coin" threads were getting on my nerves.

Just did a search using 20th only, went back 20 pages of 20 threads per page.
Scary thing is, there was more. My God, didn't think there were that many.
Wonder how many 25th threads there will be in a couple years.

Still have an unopened box of 5 20th Anniv. sets, can I still get the 20th Anniv. insert?
I would assume the FS is a no.
