psa/dna multiple autos ?
I have this minor league program from 1942 with lots of signatures including Joe D. Am I correct in assuming it is $250 to authenticate this because they are all on one item ? How important is it to have this done if I should want to sell it in the future ?
Thanks, Rich

you need to have the picture on the net then copy over the URL to the forum code for it to work

those links still mean the picture is on your computer... anything starting c: means local computer

If you ever decide to sell it, and you are going to do it yourself, then I'd go get the cert. If you go through an auction house, they'll do the authentication or pay for it themselves. Some like Heritage may charge you a fee for the authentication, you would be best served to negotiate this. Being that this is basically a Yankee item, most of the auction houses will fall over themselves trying to get you to consign. Except for very high end like REA you hold a strong hand with this item.
Of interest, the most valuable signature on the sheet might not be Joe D, but rather Ernest "Tiny" Bonham, who died in 1949. I believe Doc Painter was the trainer of the Yankees for many years and could have been on the 1927 team (too lazy to research). If so, his signature is rarely offered for sale and may be of value to collectors of that team, considered one of the best teams ever (right behind the 1972 Oakland A's, of course!).
The value of that program is probably in the $1500-2500 range, so consider if it is worth paying 10% or more of the value of the item for a third party opinion, and ONLY an opinion of an item that is unquestionably genuine.
Just my couple of cents.
If you are just keeping it for your personal collection then do whichever you wanted.
