HUGE College Football game in Lincoln this weekend

My Huskers are hosting the Spartans, who pulled one out of their butt last Saturday.

MSU's defense got exposed a bit last week. I know that it was Wisconsin, but Nebraska is clicking right now. I know Minnesota is not prime competition, but it's the attitude that I like. Martinez seems to have grown up a little bit, and anyone who does not Burkhead is nuts.

Martinez makes me nervous.

I wish Nebraska could recruit a QB that could pass -- the last one was Vince Ferragamo. As much as I loved watching Turner Gill play back in the day, I think the string of Turner-Gill like QBs should come to an end. Let's get a Sam Bradford/Andrew Luck type QB.

I guess it is HUGE for Husker and Spartan fans. In terms of the national championship it means squat.

Seems like LSU and Alabama will be playing for the National Championship in a couple weeks. If that is a hard fought close game it will be a shame for the loser to fall from contention for the BCS Championship. They seem to frown on rematches.

It should be a good game- I would refrain from saying the MSU defense was exposed during the Wisconsin game. The Badgers are a terrific team and they put up 48 at Lincoln.

It is a significant game in the Big Ten and it could decide who gets to play Wisconsin again

Nebraska is not very good this year. The only reason they squeaked by Ohio State at home was because tOSU's starting
qb got injured in the 2nd half. tOSU totally dominated Nebraska in the first half in the Huskers home park.
