Multiple stories circulating locally that Beckett is going to the homes of local collectors in DFW, going thru their stuff & making "grading suggestions", then pressuring the collectors to have their stuff sold on Beckett's website after it's graded.

If true, I'm sure those grades are legit.

Maybe the people requested Beckett to come and give them some insight. I highly doubt they are going door-to-door, asking to see "your collection"

Ah, ok. I just lucked out then. I have ad-block installed on Google Chrome, so the infected ads probably got a chance to load.

Yes, I was using Firefox at the time and the blocker missed it. I'm running Windows 7, and it completely locked me out. I couldn't even use system restore. I had to give it to a buddy who fixes these things for a living. When I told him it was from a baseball card website he looked at me with the "yeah right" look that he gives everyone else when they swear it wasn't animal porn. He finally believed me once he got it to work again and looked through my history. I told him that I wished it WAS porn, because it would have been less embarrassing to explain. I'm now converted to Google Chrome.

EFF Beckett, I had already written them off long ago, now it's a complete boycott.

I don't see them going door to door but I can see them going table to table at a card show or giving recommendations to collectors that come to their both. In any of those scenarios, I see nothing wrong.
