Wouldn't they get tons more $$$ if they sent in these seemingly beautiful coins in for grading for $50 or $100 for each coin?

Most of them are PCGS and NGC PR60-62, or Details/Gen coins that they crack out and sell raw.
I have wondered that myself but just not about them but about many sellers that have
nice raw coins. Could it be they do not want to tie their investment up for long periods of
time while the coins are being graded? I could understand that as a reason since either
they have the coins consigned or have a large investment that needs to be turning over
all the time. I have seen a few sellers that will give you an extended length of time to
send your purchase in to be graded and I have been tempted to try that but just haven't.

Oh, thanks...well, I searched by their name on the main page search here and didn't find anything too revealing...there must be another way to search. Sorry if I clogged up the first page of threads with this.

Bingo!!! Expensive raw coins that are in a dealer's inventory are raw for a reason.

Well, it could be, but it usually isn't. Any time I see an apparantly high grade popular coin unslabbed on ebay I assume the worst. And I'm usually correct. The additional profit they could ake for a slabbed coin is normally so much higher that if the coin would slab it's already done.
