This coin is very richly toned, it's got that original/crusty appearance that I am always looking for. You may have seen it listed on ebay (with minuscule pics.)

This is a fine compliment to the rest of your collection of Bust Quarters
In honor of the memory of Cpl. Michael E. Thompson
absolutely impressive!!
“We are only their care-takers,” he posed, “if we take good care of them, then centuries from now they may still be here … ”

Lance.
To remain in the shape it is in after all these
years is really remarkable. Well done indeed!

<< <i>Nice coin, but a bit too dark for my tastes. >>
I love the color and the coin. Nice find.

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
That one would be hard to beat.
I wish I had seen it.
Eagleguy, it's a B-2 variety. The one I upgraded from was an 1837 B-4 LDS, which was WAY cool, but I let it go to another bust collector (one of high reputation) he's putting together a grading set of B-4's Besides I have a counterstamped B4, except it's an EDS.
Win-win

LOL, I'm not sure how I blew that one considering my 1837 is also a B-2
