I think I was finally able to diffuse the light enough and at hit the angle properly. This is without glass, but tilting the slabbed coin into a very diffused light source.

I hate shooting it now, Bill, because I'm competing with Phil's True Views of it. I do think that if I had the coin raw, I could get it pretty damn close.

Here's the closest I can get shooting it through a slab. First Phil's then mine.
