a question for U.S. Medal experts... regarding mintage information in Julian

PreTurbPreTurb Posts: 1,193 ✭✭✭
In R.W. Julian's "Medals of the U.S. Mint, 1792-1892", mintage information is given in the Appendix (page 378+). For the years 1855-1861, this information apparently came from the "Medal Account Book 1855-1861" - this is listed as item #23 in the Bibliography, page XLV.

Does anyone here have copies/scans of any parts of this "Medal Account Book 1855-1861"? I am looking for a very few pieces of information...

Or, can anyone confirm this books' present location ? (National Archives?).

Thanks!!!

Your best prospect for correct information on this topic would be via contact with Roger Burdette. Since he has been excommunicated from here, you'll have to reach him through another venue. I don't recall if Bob Julian is a member here, but if he is, you could send a him PM.
