I remembered as a kid when they came out in '67 and wanted one ever since. Two years ago I finally got my chance, and I took it.

I've seen them come up very occasionally in major Canadian auctions.
I'd have to haul out my catalogs to say exactly when and I don't have the energy to do so.
At one time there was a lot of hanky-panky taking place at the RCM and a lot of deliberate errors made it out the back door undetected by what was apparently a very lax security system.
This went on for several years before the RCM caught on and changed its security system.
The double-struck "Diving Goose" dollar has long been suspected as being a deliberate error.
The regular "Diving Goose", for those who don't know, is just a severely rotated reverse that somehow caught on as a desirable variety among some collectors of Canada dollars.
I re-posted in the proper section
Are you thinking of selling yours
If so PM me
Thanks
