<< <i>Anyone have or know where I can purchase a graded 1967 Double Struck Diving Goose Canadian $1 >>
Is there even one available???
Have you every seen one?? >>
I've seen them come up very occasionally in major Canadian auctions. I'd have to haul out my catalogs to say exactly when and I don't have the energy to do so. At one time there was a lot of hanky-panky taking place at the RCM and a lot of deliberate errors made it out the back door undetected by what was apparently a very lax security system. This went on for several years before the RCM caught on and changed its security system. The double-struck "Diving Goose" dollar has long been suspected as being a deliberate error. The regular "Diving Goose", for those who don't know, is just a severely rotated reverse that somehow caught on as a desirable variety among some collectors of Canada dollars.
