Altered 1866-S No Motto Seated Half?

Found this on ebay. In looking at the obverse, seems to me that the last "6" is not aligned with the prior 3 digits and the curl of the 6 back into the number doesn't look right? Think this is a lgit example or a altered 1860-5 S mint with the 2nd 6?

the middle two digits are slightly higher that the end digits. To my eyes it looks like a
fake but it may just be the pic. Has that dull battleship gray look to it.
