Which Magazine subscription

CakesCakes Posts: 3,650 ✭✭✭✭✭
I would like to get a US coin collecting magazine subscription. So far I like coinworld, any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

Depends on your preferance. There are many speciality publications too.

Personally, I enjoy the ANA magazine the best.

If you're going to get just one general interest publication, Coin World is the way to go. I've been a subscriber since 1964 (!) and, even though I primarily collect U. S. paper money, I still get CW in order to get the closest to "honest" news you'll find in most numismatic publications.

Of course, as was mentioned, if you have a special area of interest, there are certainly many fine publications that would cater to that interest.

  • In addition, I also realy like COINage magazine.
    I love the historical articles.

There is so much information available on the Internet that a magazine subscription is really unnecessary. I cancelled my subscription to Coin World a couple of years ago because I came to the conclusion that it had more ads than information of value.

I'm a life member of the ANA so I do get the Numismatist magazine from that organization, and I like it. Other than that, I wouldn't bother with a subscription.

I came to the same conclusion. However, if Im in a book store I look on the shelves for issues and if the subject is interesting I still buy them occasionall.
