1924-D -- EF40, not "choice" enough to go higher
1914-D -- G6, might go higher if lack of reverse detail is related to strike issues and not wear.

Does the 24 D have any luster?

this is pretty close to what I was thinking, I might go 8 on the 14-d if there are any lines in the tops of the wheat ears, otherwise - spot on.

    I would guess VF35 on the 24D and VG8 on the 14D.

    I see the 1924-D as a 40 and the 14-D as an 8

35 and 8. I like the 14-D -The obverse is more like a strong vg and the reverse a weak vg. JMO-Bob

24 D is normally seen very weekly struck, right?

Hard to say, but that 24 D looks a tad better than 40 so I am going 45. The 14 D is a 6, but is that a lamination issue on his coat or just a copper mixture issue? if its a lamination probelm, tahn is "Genuine" with 6 details. (see, I am with the new program image )

Pretty much exactly what I was thinking too. Not sure what's going on between GOD and the top of Lincoln's head, it looks like there could be some damage which would put the coin in a Genuine holder.

The '24 D appears to me to have damaged surfaces, lightly etched front and back?No grade.
It does appear to be authentic, however.

The '14 D (make sure it has no VDB on the shoulder) appears to be genuine.
    Grade-VG8.

24D just does not have the obv. for higher IMO, rev. maybe 40.
14D is pleasant enough but a bit too much going on regardless for higher IMO
