Scored WS Tickets in Texas; Need Airline Help....

I was lucky enough to get tickets for Saturday night's game (possibly Sunday as well) from a guy I know in the Cardinals organization & since my sister lives near Dallas I could stay with her, but I need help with airline ticket pricing......Due to it being only a couple days away, the best I could find was like a $800 round trip (from either Phila., Newark or ABE). Does anyone have any suggestions (web-sites or whatever) that can get me a better deal.....I'm trying to find something in the $400 RT range.....

Any help would be appreciated as I'd really like to go...

Thanks

IMF

HAd to guess a bit on dates, but both Expedia and Hotwire showed multi-stop flights in the $650 area.

  • If you drive to BWI you can go for $565 on Southwest.
  • If you leave from Islip on LI I found one on Southwest for $498. Long Travel times, but cheapest fares. Take the new Mickey Mantle book with you to read.

Southwest to Love Field. Or Burgundy can send the private jet.

If it doesn't work out, let me know. I'd gladly pay you a nice price for the tickets.

If you're flexible on departure/arrival time, try priceline.com.

Some of the best fares I've ever found have been on that site. That said, some of the worst itinerary and layovers also came from those same flights. :-)

Always go with Southwest if possible; my son went to college in DC, and he would always fly out of BWI rather than Reagan National because, even though it is a little bit of a hassle to travel farther to the airport, the price difference is well worth it.

    IMF,

Can't help you with the airline tix, but if you get a chance at the game, it would be cool to meet you. I'll be in Section 329, row 21, seats 7-8 and you know what I look like from pics on board. I'll probably be there about an hour early on Saturday, and then on Sunday, I won't be up to my seats until probably the bottom of the 1st as I'll be part of the group on the field that's unveiling the Flag in centerfield for the National Anthem.

Pop in and say "Hi!" if you get the chance,

    Mike
