New purchase - It's well worn but it's now my 1804 Draped Bust Quarter

Stopped by my local B&M and he knows I love the DBQs. He picked this up a few weeks ago. I had a couple of older coins that no longer fit my wants and we worked a deal. Definitely not a stunner like some of you own but, until my 2 daughters graduate from college (and I then pay for weddings) this will be fine!! Now it joins it cousins in the Safety Deposit Box (I need to get them all together for a "family picture").

Definitely an original and unmessed-with looking piece. Wow, tuff date, too, huh.
<< <i>OK, so it's a bit smooth, but that can be a good thing, too.

I grew up thinking the 1804 quarter was a classic keydate but they are out there in enough numbers to be available just about when ever much like many of the other keys. I guess it doesn't make much sense for dealers to push & promote coins that they never have in innovatory.
