Well, some comments below the story say it is the Stay Puft Marshmallow man.

A couple of interesting ones include:

<< <i>It's punks like this that gives the rest of us fat, middle-aged white guys a bad name. >>

<< <i>I think I saw him floating eastbound on I 70 >>

Hopefully the picture will get them caught soon.

Check out all the other comments and you will get an idea of why there is no longer an Open Form here. If only there was some kind of refuge for those wanting one.

Heavy dude, gray hair, sloppy clothes.

I will look and see if I find anyone at the St. Louis show this week that fits the description. image
  • A couple of mustard stains on his shirt, and he'd look like 90% of the coin dealers at a show.
  • I believe he is a dealer and has tables at most of the coin shows

That is unfortunate. I hope they get that guy. Matt is the owner of that shop I believe and is a forum member over at cointalk.com goes by the handle Lostdutchman.

He is a young guy who just opened that shop a few years ago.

That sucks. Matt is a member here too, "Lostdutchman." In my few interactions with him here in the board, he's been easy to deal with and very professional.

    I hope you aren't serious.

Sorry, but when I don't see the winky face emoticon, I usually assume the poster is being serious.

  • I was able to get Indiana crime stoppers to circulate his picture across all the police departments and my detective told me that he got calls from 5 other police departments across the state identifying the "fat man" as we call him.

I do know his name but I won't post it publicly until after charges have been filed. Did I read that someone thought he set up at shows? I've never seen him locally at least.
