Steve Young USFL Card - Likely Grade Question

I have a Steve Young USFL rookie card (see pics below) and I am concerned about a possible blemish that may negatively impact its final PSA grade. I am planning on sending this card in with a massive submission and want to get your opinions on its likely grade and if is worth sending it in based on the likely grade.

The specific blemish (see the black circle on the 3rd picture) appears to be a pinhead-like-sized depression on the back side of the card. It is not deep; however, it is noticeable to the naked eye and anyone with depth perception can see it is not a simple surface mark, rather a depression. Additionally, as I look at the card under the high res scanner, I see other depression marks that I did not see with my naked eye.

With this knowledge, what do you think this will likely grade out as (PSA) and based on the grade, does it payoff long term to get it graded or just sell/trade raw? I don't know much about the USFL series of cards or the general PSA grading process to make an informed decision on my own. Thank you.

I don't think that spot on the back is going to cost you much. I'd say the corners are only 7's however, and I hope that's either a scanner- or sleeve-caused line on the bottom right of the front.

Yeah, it appears that bottom right, front/back mark is a bend in the sleeve . TY for the opinion. Meatloaf

I say the corners put it somewhere around PSA 6 - PSA 6.5.

I don't think it's worth the trouble to grade. Perhaps selling raw is the way to go. What do you want for it?

Thanks for the "keepin' it raw" opinion. I did not intend on selling it in the near term, so I have no idea what I would want for it. However, opinions from the forum members may change my mind. Let me do some research on raw pricing and get back to you. Do you have a $$$ range in mind or trade bait? Meatloaf

    I also think it is in the "6" range. Graded in a "6" it's about a $55 - $60 card.

The corners look pretty rough. I was thinking 6 or 7 ish. The centering on it is really good though. I think because of the centering you would be much better off selling it raw. I have noticed that the corners and edges on the back dont hurt the grade too much. My sampl size is pretty small but I got an 8 on a jim Kelly that had a lot of white on the back corners and edges.

Thanks for this insight. Gonna be a tough call to submit or sell raw I guess. Meatloaf
