For the curious cats, I have a clad set of Washies that I want to put into a new album. The set was put together eons ago and the clad coins had developed a little haze to them, so I wanted to bring them back to a better state. I suppose I could just buy new junker mint sets and cut them out, but figured I would try this first.

The silver part of the set is fabulous. I need three coins for a complete set.

I know for hazy proofs that Russ and Mad Marty always recommended Acetone.

Not the same, if you must use e-zest, dilute 1 parts ez to 3 parts purified water and wash with acetone when done.

Let me clarify, after the dip, wash with distilled water, then acetone and pat dry (pat, not rub) with paper towel.
