Wax junkies???

Yes, I admit it. I am addicted. I can't stop looking for vintage packs or boxes to buy and rip. Does anyone else have an addiction to ripping packs they want to admit? What do you typically buy?

I used to but I had to quit, cold turkey.
I am buying and trading for RC's of Wilt Chamberlain, George Mikan, Bill Russell, Oscar Robertson, Jerry West, and Bob Cousy!

  • An unopened pack will last about 5 minutes in my home. I've bought 79T hockey boxes and packs in the past and have torn everyone. Now I'm into Star Trek so I just opened 16 graded packs and for the fun of it just tore worthless Star Trek movie packs just for fun.

Currently working on about 36 steps, so I don't need another addiction, but I like a good rip now and then. Under $50 for an unopened box of 25 year old cards is a cheap enough evenings entertainment.

I have to admit I have zero intention of leaving anything I buy unripped. I don't care if it appears to be a waste of money. It is worth it for the ripping high!

I just today received another Original box of 1982 Donruss M*A*S*H cards. It is my 7th box I've picked up this year for less than $40 delivered. I also have 6 unopened boxes of 1976 Donruss Space 1999. I just haven't touched them at all, not to mention the countless unopened cellos and wax packs of Baseball packs I have. Unless I get something graded, (I have opened some M*A*S*H) I leave it sealed...
