What a fun time, will get tickets slabbed by PSA, Rangers win ALCS

I've gotten a lot of cards slabbed by PSA, but never a ticket stub yet. This year, if the Rangers go on to win the World Series, I'm going to try and get a complete playoff and World Series run of their winning games ticket stubs and have them slabbed for my Rangers collection. I've already got all the home ones, just need to find the road ones. If anyone has stubs from their games they won in Tampa Bay or Detroit, I'd be interested in buying one (if they manage to win the World Series as well)

Here's some pics from last nights ALCS Game 6 winner against Detroit.

Here's Mrs. thenavarro, and me before the game filled with optimism (and a pregame chicken fried chicken platter)

    Great pics!!!

Now if we can only get the Milwaukee Brewers in the series that would be cool...2 teams facing each other that have never won the series!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
  • Thanks for sharing the pictures. Even though I'm disappointed the Angels didn't win the division, I do hope the Rangers can win the World Series this year.

My brother in law was also there, he buys standing room only tickets. Looks like good times and I think they are going to win it all. But......................as I told him I hate how two years in a row now the Rangers don't have home field to start the series because of the outcome of the All Star game. I hate that, it should alternate. My rant, good luck to the Rangers. Doug

  • as for who gets home field advantage it should go to the team with most victories..or to be more fair to both a coin toss, not whos league wins the damned all star game how stupid, maybe the nba and nhl should do that if the east wins the all star game the eastern team gets home court...

Good luck Dean. Hopefully it will be a fun series to watch. Supposedly, Texas has NEVER played in St. Louis before. Don't know if that is true or not, but that's what a friend told me today.

    Hey tigerdean
I have tickets for game 7 in St. Louis if it goes that far also. I've never been to a World Series game so I'm excited about the possibility.

I was at the winning game in 2006 and I can say there was nothing like it. I looked at my wife on the final out with a big smile on my face and said " I can now die in peace". I just recently got my tickets slabbed from the game! If we get to go then we must meet up and say hi!!!

Be careful. Ticket slabbing can be addictive and costly. I love they way the tickets look in a slab and the info on the flip is great. I get a lot of my tickets slabbed that are pretty much worthless... Just because I like the way they display. I suppose its cheaper than framing. Good luck with your project.
