Flanders - A new nation?

What's the latest on the break-away nation of "The Flemish Republic" ?
I understand the Dutch-speaking half of Belgium has issued a pattern 2-euro coin in support of their effort to form a separate government.

The mood for separatism, mainly from Flanders, the Dutch-speaking half of Belgium, is growing. A few years ago, nobody in the Belgian government openly talked about the prospect of partition. But in the 2010 elections, three pro-separatist parties gained seats in the Belgian parliament, one of which (the New Flemish Alliance) is now actually the largest party and forms part of the government coalition. However, the majority of Belgians in both halves of the country still voted for pro-unification parties. The pro-separatist parties all recognise this and all agree the transition must be gradual, democratic and non-violent. Any unofficial "pattern coins" made in the name of a "Flemish Republic", like the 1 euro coin being sold by JoelsCoins no doubt come from the extremist fringe, rather than the Flemish Community government itself or from the mainstream pro-separatist parties.

There are many issues that would have to be resolved which have not yet even been discussed. Such as, what happens to the tiny German-speaking territories, or the status of Brussels, the current Belgian capital, situated smack in the middle of Flemish territory but populated mainly by French-speakers. SO they've got quite a long way to go yet before legitimate Flemish coins become a reality.
Waste no more time arguing what a good man should be. Be one.
