Latest Pickups a Nice Surprise

Many of you guys probably have co-workers that know you're interested in cards. Not sure how the rumors started where I work
. Upon occasion people bring in their beat up 80's or 90's cards
wondering what they're worth and I look at them, smile and hand them back. Today however someone brought in some cards that made me take a little longer lunch break. He had a few football and
mostly '59's that were LOOSE with no sleeves in a shoe box. They were really clean but many had slight corner dings from being thrown around. Here is a sample of the cards I bought. The Billy Loes
cards may not look like much but he had three without the "traded" and "optioned" captions which are rarer. The Ralph Lumenti cards didn't have, "Optioned to Chattanooga in March 1959" which
again is harder to find. For once it worked out. Doug
Edited to add: Also picked up the Lefty O'Doul post card because I thought it was cool.
