Anybody Ever Pulled 10's with the Panty hose Method?

Evening,

So I am going through the cards I busted form the Latest Rip, the 78 OPC box and found another 10 cards I would feel comfortable subbing looking for 10's. Two of them I didn't even consider the first round because of the amount of Wax Flash! Anybody remember pulling 10's after cleaning up an overly flashed card? I know I've pulled some 9's, but don't rememebr if I've ever pulled any 10's.

    I don't understand how wearing panty hose while you're opening wax packs helps with getting a 10?

    I do wear latex chaps when opening cellos though...
    2.5 is pretty much my speed.

    I'm assuming Lawnboy that the recent fetish with the Avatar of the Precious Metal Thief means you are jealous of his good looks, or is there some latent tendency's, regardlees of the fact your Wife is good looking and we can only Imagine how Frickin' Ugly you actually are !!!!

    I rub all of my cards down with a pair of Nylons before getting them signed and have had several come back 10's. I have also had some luck removing surface stains and dirt with them too. As long as you are careful not to ding a edge or corner you will not damage your card.

    I've had good luck with 1986 Fleer basketball stickers! The wife did look at me funny for a few days though.

    I considered my wife a 10 with panty hose on....or off for that matter when we met.......guess she still must be close to that number, we're still hanging in after 22 years.....

    Sadly, I've never accomplished this with a 10, but I have pulled the panty hose of a few 9's in my younger years. Does that count?

    I've never pulled the pantyhose off of a 10 either. Or a 9. But I have pulled them off of three 3's and a 2, and that adds up to 11.

    I imagine pulling them off 3's and 2's are a LOT more work.

    Nah. Usually the hose is pretty stretched out and torn by then.

    I Bought a PSA 9 ST of the 1979 Topps #150 Ken Dryden for $20-$40. When I got it home I cracked it and took a stocking to all the wax. Re sent it in and got a one of one PSA 10. That card is probably worth $500-$1000. Now I take a stocking to alll the waxed cards.

    Thanks for the other cards. I received them today and will be opening them this week.
