Won this one for what I thought was a strong price but in hand the toning is much nicer than I imagined so I am really glad I adjusted my max bid up 3 times The fact that the holder did end up being the rare NGC 2.1 is icing on the cake fellow vintage holder weenie's
Thoughts on the coins eye appeal and grade?.....no clue if this has any shot at upgrade but I think it's at least as advertised...MS66

How much for the coin? You can keep the holder and sell that separately.

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......

Agreed that the luster might hold it back to a MS-66. But then again the key word is MIGHT. It should probably garner at least a green CAC sticker. I would grade it 66.8, not quite a 67.
This slab is an awesome NGC 2.1 slab with the gold foil on the inside of the slab, affixed to the white core. A keeper for sure!

<< <i>Oh . . . and how come some of our recent "Doily Advertisers" who have spoiled my bidding with their full-internet-wide announcements of every Doily in the world . . .did not mess up your bids by posting a thread on this one?????????????? I would then have seen it!
