From an email:
"Genuine with Details. This is a new service that we are offering at no additional charge. You can now choose from three Genuine Service options. 1) Do not holder Genuine Coins; 2) Genuine with Details; 3) or the standard (default) Genuine service. Genuine with Details will print the coin problem as well as a details grade. We will not be using numeric grades. An example might be “Cleaned – XF Details”. New submission forms will be available in a few weeks however Genuine with Details is effective immediately, simply write it on your submission form. Note: you cannot mix Genuine services on one submission."

Doing a quick, 2 second, search with just GENUINE in the title, give this.....
Note that Ambro started the thread but it referenced what DW mentioned in a previous thread....so it was discussed at least twice
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

No worries, I wasn't aware of a rule in place that potential thread topics should be run through the SEARCH feature prior to posting either. I sure hope no one has used my reply that is to follow....
Interesting.
I never cared for ANACS' "net" grades because I always felt that the problem and the effect on the value was subjective.
Details is not a bad way to go. Isn't that was NCS does/did?

It's been discussed off and on for several years. (That they should consider it, not that they went ahead and did it.)
60 years into this hobby and I'm still working on my Lincoln set!
Lance.
Bummer on the timing.
I could have learned a little more if PCGS assigned a grade to a questionable color piece and to cleaned one I missed.

How can they be entered in the registry then?-------BigE

...here's one
The more qualities observed in a coin, the more desirable that coin becomes!
My Jefferson Nickel Collection
grading service left, since they did not give a details grade on Problem coins?
Now what? And most importantly, will CAC sticker a problem coin with a details grade?
Just asking...
