Is this real of fake? PCGS slab, 2011 Kennedy with his signature

I have seen a number of coins on ebay with a unique PCGS holder. The coin is a 2011 Kennedy 50c graded PR69 with a picture of Kennedy with his head down and accompied by a signature.

THe signature has to be a replica of some sort but is the holder even real? Crazy marketing of forgery?

This was an offering for the PCGS Authorized Dealers.

I brought them up in this thread.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The name is LEE!
  • That should be neat. Kennedy, an avid autograph collector himself and successful user of the Autopen, had a signature that varied vastly.

This proves it. He didn't die that day in Dallas, after all.

I was wonderin' who that old guy was at the PCGS booth, signin' slabs.

  • Yes it is real, I have one for my proof Kennedy set. Oh and the seller you have shown is one of my favorites.
  • Is that an actual autograph or just a copy?

I think what that is referred to is a "Facsimile" of a real/actual signature.
