That edgeview ring is pretty neat if it actually functions as intended.

Sure does look cool just looking at the pics on their website. It is the kind of
innovation one would expect from the top two?

Talked to them for about 30 minutes at the Kentucky State show last weekend.....

They gave me a few edge view rings to try out on my CBH's.

    Seemed like nice knowledgeble folks.

I saw them at the Michigan Dearborn show and that's what they were hoping/hinting that a Big TPG would make a deal with them for the technology. Nice slabs!

The original post and most of the responses were neither neg or positive but neutral. Pass the koolaid! image

Luckily, they have done zero of the above mentioned.

Just wonder why Tom Pilitowski calls it a "grading" outfit (with the quote marks as usually meant to sarcastically suggest that it is not.)

If someone has a better idea for slabs or grading methods, by all means let them run with it and let the collector and dealer marketplace
    decide its success or failure.

    yep

and what I saw of there absolutely CLEANED Morgans was mystifying with their grading and pricing

I'll pass on another 4th world slabber..
    This part is funny..

** The cost of Crossovers is due to slabs being counterfeited. They must be authenticated. Also much care needs to be taken while cracking out your valuable coin

This company has a revolutionary slab patent that I predict one of the major companies will buy or license.

I wonder why Frank Provasek is the type of person he is but I don't dwell on it. "Frankly" I couldn't care less.image

That is a pretty neat holder and a clever way of viewing the edge. Not sure how clear it is though from the pics.

They graded some coins for me including one of my 1942-S Inverted S dimes for me at a show. Very nice people, and very conservative grading.

Their edge view gasket/ring is very cool and works quite well. My guess is that the ability to license it to a market-accepted grading service will be what makes them money.

Here's their patent application. No patent has been granted yet -- probably another year or two.
  • lets see the slab
